ThunderBall has optioned the published novel (ISBN: 1-4134-4314-1)/spec screenplay from Margaret E. Reiling-Mack entitled `THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT`
On October 18, 1955 the battered bodies of three young boys were discovered in Robinson’s Woods near Chicago. The cause death of each boy was strangulation. On August 11, 1994, nearly forty years after the murders, a man was arrested and charged for the crimes. There was no physical evidence or eyewitness testimony linking him to the murders, just paid informants for the state in hopes to create a case solving one of the most infamous unsolved murders cases in the city of Chicago.
This is the journey of a suburban housewife whose life is forever changed when after watching a news broadcast is faced with her own past and is forced to deal with the reality that an innocent man is sentenced to life in jail for a group of murders that was actually committed by her own father over forty years ago.
She sets out to prove the innocence of this imprisoned man by retracing her father’s footsteps, all the while dealing with the life of a man she hardly knew. With the sudden appearance and disturbing connections to long lost siblings, the mafia, and government cover-ups, she finds herself and loved ones in constant danger leading her to ask herself whether or not the life’s she’s lived is worth leaving behind for the truth.
Going to the apartment basement where she believes her father had committed the murders, she manages to break in and find some evidence that will prove her father was the man who did the murders. She uncovers her father’s connection to the hit and run accident that was responsible for the death of his aunt after the original murders were committed. She discovers her father’s association to a vile group of disturbed mafia type men and their relationship to the now accused individual.
She reveals the political agenda that spurred the sudden interest in the forty year old murders and the ties to two other murders prompting the resolve to the largest group of unsolved murders ever in any city, securing the reelection of the governor and other key state officials. It becomes a race against time as she runs with the evidence to the one man who can help her save her life as well as free an innocent man’s life.

ThunderBall Films, LLC has secured WonderPhil Productions (Sales Agent - www.wonderphil.biz) to represent the film based on an executed formal agreement between the parties for co-production ThunderBall with EO7 in New York for “subHysteria.”
The completed film is now being pitched to various distributors by WonderPhil Productions who attended the recent AFM in Santa Monica, along with other and key international relationships. A pre-sale for all rights to Venezuela has been completed and the Co-production partners are now in the process of developing various spin-off projects based on the original film.
SYNOPSIS:
“subHysteria” is beautifully directed by Leonard Zelig, written and produced with his two partners, Javier Perez-Karam and Roberto Alcazar of EO7 with Mario Domina/ThunderBall joining in as Executive Producers.
This improvised real film drama is a ride no one will forget. A group of sixteen talented actors from all walks of life, trapped in a NYC subway car, without communication, hope, nor anyway to escape have to face fears beyond imagination.

3. ME AND A GUN
This spec screenplay, written by Martin Jagodzinski, Jr. was previously under option with Mario Domina. However, based on mutual goals for the project and its sequel, ME AND A GUN is now under option with ThunderBall.
Also, attached as Director is Matteo Saradini, who also helmed `Zodiac: The Real Story,` and in Co-production with ThunderBall, wrote, directed and produced `Blood Chronicle.`
ME AND A GUN – SYNOPSIS
Amelia Matiziak is a survivor. An award winning news correspondent, her first assignment back from the car accident that took her husband and son was supposed to be one of complacency for Henry Freeman, Amelia’s boss. Amelia uses her skills to con her way into covering a more relevant topic - a string of mysterious American deaths in Rio de Janeiro.
Amelia’s companion is Vic, her favorite cameraman and traveling companion. They have nothing in common, except a mutual respect for each other, never taking more than they need.
Once in Rio, their liaison, Anna, greets them. Her connection runs deep, she is mysterious, almost deceitful; however, Anna has more information than she is willing to share and certainly not what she seems.
Sgt. Ramirez, the officer in charge of the investigation in Rio, has been feeling the stares and hearing talk behind his back of his incompetence. He feels he has no honor, and the only way to retrieve it is to catch this killer of men.
Amelia’s investigation reveals the killings are directly related to The Dominion, a multi-governmental covert group attempting to create political change through action. The Dominion operates on many levels in many countries, always in secret.
Amelia, in her travels throughout the underground of Rio, uncovers a mysterious figure behind the killings that has the opportunity, motive and means to perform all the killings…all with a purpose.
Amelia, close to uncovering The Dominion’s hidden secret is abducted; so she must not only come to terms with her recent tragedy to move on, but also find a way to escape and save her life. Amelia is able to uncover her captor to be Mary, the wife of a lower Dominion member.
Anna finally reveals herself to Vic that she is an agent working undercover for the Brazilian government against The Dominion. In the final showdown, Sgt. Ramirez and his officers storm Mary`s hideout, but not before Amelia faces Mary alone.

ThunderBall is developing THE LEGEND OF THE GRAY MAN, both as a documentary feature to tell the fascinating tale of this legend that mysteriously appears to warn islanders of upcoming hurricanes and also as a docu-drama feature with Matteo Saradini attached as Writer-Director.
Islanders on Pawley’s Island, South Carolina today still stand by The Gray Man and his existence. Dating back to the 1800’s his sightings by residents still exist today and this town held by this incredible legend has built a strong tourist trade around it. The Legend of the Gray Man is not only a tourist attraction, but also numerous witnesses have claimed he actually saved their lives or those on the island during hurricane season.
ThunderBall is working closely and gaining support with both the South Carolina Film Commission and the Georgetown County/Pawley’s Island Chamber of Commerce members to accurately develop/portray this legend on both the documentary and docu-drama feature projects.

8. THUNDERBALL AND MASTERPLAN FILMS FORM CO-PRODUCTION ON `THE BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDERS`
`THE BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDERS` is a feature film signed on Malcolm McDowell and starring Corey Feldman, Brad Dourif, Doug Bradley, Claire King, Sarah Barrand, Stuart Cable, Stephanie James and David Hess in this film set for theatrical release, written and directed by Andrew Jones.
SYNOPSIS:

The completed film covered the five most credible JFK assassination theories surrounding the murder of President John F. Kennedy on that fateful day in Dallas. J T TAYLOR (Kool and the Gang former lead)
James `JT` Taylor, an exciting American R&B singer with international appeal, most known as the lead for the funk/R&B band Kool & the Gang, has signed on with ThunderBall for `America`s Lip Sync Star,` joining Norby Walters as a CELEBRITY JUDGE.
Before his rise to fame, JT was a schoolteacher and amateur night club singer. When he was 13 years old, he and his friends started their own band, which lead to his joining Kool & the Gang in 1978 and within a year, JT became their lead singer.
Together, they released the highly successful, `Ladies` Night.` Taylor, as the lead, helped two singles `Too Hot` and `Ladies` Night` reach gold and platinum status. `Celebrate!` the group`s next album, became one of the biggest hits of their career.
In 1988 J T separated amicably from Kool the Gang, however returned in 1995. Despite his tenure and the success, Taylor is not to be found on Kool and the Gang`s latest release, `Still Kool` (2007).

The story unfolds with the mood of impending danger set early on, as a likeable young teenage hero, Luke Starr, enters a mysterious realm of Earth known as the mythical world of Spellville, by way of an eerie portal in search of his kidnapped friends. But the journey for Luke is not so much a mission of mercy as one of self-discovery.
For despite his humble Midwest origins, Luke is no ordinary teenager. Imbued with super powers following a ritualistic exchange of blood with a clever dragon, Luke soon discovers the awesome legacy of his birthright, a dark side of great strength, brutal fury and must learn to accept the fact that he is known in this other world as the Chosen One. Still, unquestionably human, he must come to grips with what he has now become, the most violent force in nature, a dragon hybrid, a.k.a. `DragonMan.`
And ready or not, he is thrust into a nightmarish life and death battle to try and save Planet Earth from alien beings hell-bent on destruction, at the same time grappling with his own fears and doubts while always in an inner conflict with himself trying to keep the violent nature of the dragon in check, making it a tough road to travel for this Christian teenage boy of strong religious and morals beliefs.
In a pace that never flags, Luke and an ancient dragon must now join together in an epic struggle that is all neatly stitched together by an intriguing cast of characters, both good and evil and not-exactly-as-they-seem, wherein unsolved murders, a mysterious psychic and an ominous stranger keep the action rolling until the climactic conclusion.
15. MUREX - THUNDERBALL OPTIONS CANNES FILM FESTIVAL ENTRY 2007 AND 2008
ThunderBall Films is developing and producing full length feature films based on the two Cannes Film Festival`s short film entries, `Syntony` in 2007 and `The Woodshed Shade,` who also received the Remi Award for Creative Excellence at the 40th Annual WorldFest International Film & Video Festival by Italian writer-director, Giacomo Arrigoni.
Being presented and pitched at Cannes 2008 will be another spec feature film ThunderBall Films is producing for Mr. Arrigoni entitled `MUREX,` a thrilling horror fantasy.
`MUREX` is the story of a ten year old boy, who lives in a Middle Eastern city devastated by war and accidentally finds an ancient Phoenician amulet.
However, the keeper of the amulet is a mysterious fisherman from the dark side. He forces the young boy into a pact to always keep the amulet safe; and he must never let it go.
If he does let go, the fisherman will return and unleash his curse of terror on the world and bring final damnation. |
